Honestly no complaints whatsoever. Lovely base for traveling to Los Angeles and exploring local places. Great location, in the middle of jackson. Climate control and a flat-screen TV available in the a double room. Paid US$ 70.

My room had a bed bug, and the staff refused to believe me, even threatening to call the police. I was so distressed that I had to argue for half my money back, but it wasn't worth the hassle.

The dining scene around Sandman Motel is an absolute vibe! I hit up Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles, and let me tell you, those chicken and waffle combo hits different! Plus, I was super comfy in my Beautiful King Room and felt safe the whole stay. Just steps from SoCal's best eats-it's a foodie paradise! Cheers to that!

But let's keep it real. The cash-only policy was a major bummer, like, who still does that? And the door didn't close right. Not the ideal situation when you want to snooze after a long day. Still, I guess the good food helps balance it all out!

You can unwind in the peaceful lounge or enjoy some downtime by the pool. The only hiccup was the door not fitting quite right, letting in a bit of a draft, but it didn't ruin the experience 😊
